This course prepares you for the work environment. It will improve my employment prospects in the future because it has a blend of business applications, accountancy, economics, HRM and other relevant areas. This will meet the requirements of most jobs I am interested in. The multi-cultural class produces a good learning environment. Lecturers are very friendly and open to questions. The Certificate in Business Studies provides a good understanding of the basic concepts and core subjects of business like economics, business administration, marketing and communications. The lecturers are very competent and highly qualified. We are doing interesting assignments in every subject. Continuous assessment benefits all the students as we progress through the year rather than just an end of year exam"

I like the range of IT and business subjects on the eBusiness course. It’s a great introduction to IT and business for all students interested in working in these important areas. Communications gave me great confidence for education and work. I liked the assignments on each subject and the lecturers really helped us along the way. The IT facilities in IBaT are very good as well.” Anu Mohandas Nair - Certificate in eBusiness Studies

The teaching method was very interactive. I discovered different cultures in my class from as far away as China, Nigeria and India. There was a good mix of cultures and nationalities. The course broadened my knowledge and understanding of HRM and different management perspectives. As part of corporate policy we could use our own experience when developing the project. The lecturers took a keen interest in our personal development"

The course was very well constructed. I had the opportunity to improve my English skills that I had learned in school. I am now able to present my knowledge and apply it in English. It gave me great confidence academically and socially in terms of presentations. Personally, this course has set me up for academic success. It was a small class and the lecturer was very nice.”

I can honestly say that I would not be in my current role as manager now, without the confidence I gained in myself from the NCI programme. The NCI Diploma is an excellent programme that is well recognised and really does give as near to practical experience as you will get at management level.”

The lecturers were very good and had an excellent approach to the subjects. The content of the course was delivered very easily and in an understandable way. We had access to plenty of notes and things were simplified as much as possible to make it understandable. The ACCA course gives me a qualification that can be brought anywhere and it is very useful in my own workplace. It makes me more valuable to my own company.”
